Originally, there was the story The Crisis On Infinite Earths and for years we fans (and the characters involved) usually just referred to it as "The Crisis." But in recent years, the sequel story Infinite Crisis came out. And then prophecies began of a third and Final Crisis (which is now hitting the stores).
